Let me introduce myself

Thank you very much David, I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you on this wonderful version of SideshoViD.com! As always folks, I feel some really exciting things are happening around here, but before we get to all that, why don't I let you know a little bit more about me. As ViD mentioned, I have managed my own blog for over six months now, and I'm a junior economics major at Texas A&M University. That's really all you need to know about me at this point. I first met SideshoViD my freshman year, when I had the ungodly fortune of living with him for my first semester in college. He and his cronies managed to make my life a virtual hell that semester, although the excessive drinking, sleep deprivation, and psychotic girlfriend did nothing to contribute to a peaceful state of mind. All in all though, I carry some fond memories from my time in Moore Hall. Later that year, I moved in with my friend "Stinky." For those of you who don't know the story, the name Stinky wasn't just an affectionate nickname given to that big teddy bear. Literally, a pungant odor followed him wherever he went, even after he would take a shower. Haha, As I remember, ViD used to claim that by the time he hit the stairs in the dorm, he could "call" whether or not Stinky was in our room, which was about 10 doors down from the stairs. Anyway, soon after I moved in with Stinky, he got kicked out of the university for some schoolboy stunt he pulled in the quad outside our dorm. Sometime after that, ViD and I began to repair the broken down friendship that was a remnant of our time as roommates, and I began to learn html. I guess you could say the rest is history, and I'm very excited about being a part of such an exciting webpage. People all across the internet are IMing me and, they're all excited, that's what they are. So I hope you'll sit back and enjoy the next few months that will hopefully be full of some funny stories. Also, we plan to occasionally post a "Point-Counterpoint," where we face off on some of today's most controversial issues. It promises to be very exciting, as long as nobody comes along and throws a monkey wrench in the whole process. That's all I've got for now. Talk to you later.

Yeah, I occaisonally peruse the vid site, being a lucky one who knew david in his formative pre-college years. I was reading “josephs” most recent post and saw picture of him. Small world says I ran the Linear Algebra help session this dude went to last semester, we had math talks. I find this coincidence fascinating.

Fascinating indeed Erik, but why did you put my name in quotations?
